Retrofitted floating treatment media for clean effluent all year ‘round
The Hunterville WWTP was undergoing an upgrade for the discharge of their wastewater. The Regional Council supported two options — both expensive options for such a small population and rating base to support.
Benefits
The retrofitted floating treatment media onto the existing asset is consistently delivering a very clean effluent quality throughout all the seasons.
The effluent quality we have now at Hunterville WWTP is possibly the cleanest of any WWTP in the country and would have the best value engineering cost wise
