NDG Wastewater Treatment
The Nasser Delphin Group (NDG) Wastewater Treatment system offers an innovative, simple and efficient system for residential waste water treatment. NDG polyethylene compact sewage treatment plants are available from 4 to 150 inhabitant systems.
Very Easy Installation
A NDG plant is installed in an evacuated pit with a 3 metre diameter. Due to its light weight the BDG pPlat can be handled easily by the use of a small crane. Its installation and commissioning can be completed in just 2 hours.
An NDG Prefabricated Plant replaces traditional concrete septic tanks that usually require a larger operating capacity in addition to extra civil works.
- An NDG Plant is a relatively maintenance free option requiring a sludge removal once a year.
- The treatment technology used doesn’t require any chemical additives or any other traditional maintenance such as washing or periodic replacement
- The treated water can be recycled for irrigation
The NDG Treatment Process
- Preliminary Clarification
Domestic wastewater reaches the Preliminary Clarification Tank in which rejected stocks are separated through gravitational force and a sludge reservoir.
- Biological Purification
The Biological Purification stage degrades organic as well as inorganic substances dissolved in the wastewater through an immersed and aerated fixed bed .
- Final Clarification
This stage separates the biologically purified water from the excess biomass providing water that can be used for plant irrigation.
We looked at a number of options and Waterclean’s solution had the cheapest capital costs, the cheapest operating costs, and a simple way of operating and delivers the best results. It was a win-win all round.
Thanks to Waterclean, we made considerable cost savings for the ratepayers and significantly improved the quality of the treated effluent going into the rivers. It was a great result for the councillors, staff, and the community as a whole.
